I have only been working at FC Revera as Director for Strategic Sports Development for a little over four months. It has been an extremely intense period, marking the beginning of a long journey in the Club’s sports transformation. I am a person who values communication, which is why I have decided to share my thoughts on our strategic goals, football concepts, changes being made and operational activities.
The scope of responsibilities in the position of Director for Strategic Sports Development is based on the elaboration, implementation and managing of the “Sports Development Model”. Here is a general outline of the whole range of responsibilities:
🔷 developing and implementing a long-term sports strategy
🔷 defining and unifying the football intellectual foundation and knowledge
🔷 determining areas of sports development
🔷 developing and implementing a unified comprehensive football concept with all football models
🔷 structural transformation in the area of sport, defining the characteristics of departments, units and position profiles and implementing operational processes
🔷 internal communication in the sports sector
🔷 complex and synergistic management of the Sports Department and the Specialists
🔷 education, management and recruitment of sports Specialists
🔷 management, development, as well as evaluation of teams and players across the entire Club
🔷 management of sports technologies and innovations
🔷 leading sports projects
🔷 setting the direction for sports communication
Four months is a drop in the ocean of the entire transformation, but we have already achieved a great deal during this time. And we have planned even more. More on this soon.
